British singer songwriter James Blunt will release his new album ‘Moon Landing’ in October.
Blunt, who’s sold more than 17 million albums and 20 million singles globally, made the announcement overnight, confirming that after toying with his sound slightly on previous release – 2010’s ‘Some Kind Of Trouble’ – the new album would see him going “back to basics”.
“This is a much more personal album,” the singer confirmed. “It’s about me and Tom, the producer, finding where the story all started and where we are now.”
Further information, including details about the lead single, is forthcoming.
But ‘Moon Landing’ will be released in the UK on Monday October 21, suggesting it’ll drop locally on Friday October 18.
