Aussie icon Jimmy Barnes is hitting the road this August for the national ‘Welcome To The Pleasure House’ tour in support of a new single called (not surprisingly) ‘Pleasure House’.
The run of shows, to go on sale this Thursday, will take in a number of centres across the country, including many that Jimmy hasn’t played for “some time”.
Kicking off in Canberra on August 04, the tour meanders through the states and territories until late September, missing only Tasmania.
The shows will be hit-laden, but will also give fans a chance to hear some new material.
“I am writing songs for a new album at the moment and I thought it might be nice to give fans a taste of things to come,” Jimmy said in a statement. “So I have decided to give anyone who buys a ticket to the show a copy of a new song I wrote with Jackson and Harrison Freud. The song is called ‘Pleasure House’ and I have decided to name the tour after the song. So welcome to the ‘Pleasure House’, let’s all have a wild time.”
