Canadian crooner Michael Bublé will tour Australia next year.
Australia’s love affair with the charming star continues unabated, with his latest albums ‘To Be Loved’ and ‘Christmas’ both topping the ARIA albums chart. His festive collection did so in both 2011 and 2012 and has smashed through the seven times platinum mark. And it’s a love affair that’s more than reciprocated, with Michael a regular visitor to our shores.
He’ll be here again in April and May next year, visiting each of the five main centres for a series of seven dates (two each in Sydney and Melbourne).
And it sounds like Michael will be pulling out all the stops for a huge show.
“I just love getting in front of people,” he admits in a statement. “It’s so important to be in touch with your audience. They’ve paid their money, I want them to be entertained. If they want to cry or laugh or dance or sing or yell, they can do whatever they want. My responsibility is just to take them away.”
Pre-sale for Telstra Thanks goes live from 10am on Monday July 29, with general public tickets on sale from 10am on Monday August 05.
