After a few teasers over the past couple of days, Jessica Mauboy has a short time ago lifted the lid on the official video for her latest single ‘To The End Of The Earth’.
The track debuted just outside the top 20 on last week’s ARIA singles chart and dropped ten places this week, proving how difficult it is for Australian mainstream pop acts to catch a break at the moment (singles by Jess’s labelmates Johnny Ruffo and The Collective have failed to fire).
The clip (below) was filmed in our spectacular red centre and sees our leading lady stepping out from the passenger seat of a car that’s seen better days and dancing in the glow of its headlights. From there, it’s on to see some of the spectacular sights.
Could this be our Jess’ way of trying to entice the international market to give her (or perhaps Australia itself) a try?

Maybe a bit too simple – love the hair & makeup, especially the first look. And the scenery shots at the end were beautiful.
Also a little surprised the song itself is stalling a bit on iTunes. It’s a shame we don’t have many TV opportunities for promotion at the moment as I’m sure a performance on The X Factor would make a huge difference.
