The lads from New Zealand boyband Titanium haven’t really seen much release action on this side of the ditch, apart from the local outing of their rework of Jason Mraz’ ‘I Won’t Give Up’ earlier this year.
It’s approaching a gold sales accreditation here in Australia, but the local action for the band who started their life via a radio station talent search is about to heat up in a big way, kicking off with a visit by the band to Sydney on Monday next week.
They’ll be on-ground to promote the forthcoming local release of ‘Come On Home’, which was their double platinum-selling, No.1 debut single on home soil, as well as a feature single called ‘Unarmed’ which has been co-penned by Toby Gad and Big Time Rush’s Kendall Schmidt.
Then, of course, there’s the small case of their self-titled (presumably for the international market) debut album. Yes, it too is due for a local release next month via MGM.
But if all this excitement for our Aussie Titans wasn’t enough, there’s even mention of a September/October tour announcement in the coming days.
‘Come On Home’ is released digitally on Friday August 30, followed by the album ‘Titanium’ on Friday September 27.
