It’s an exciting week for Australia’s Kings Of Leon fans, with the band’s new album ‘Mechanical Bull’ set to his local retailers on Friday this week.
But Sony Music, Channel [V] and Triple M have upped the ante today, confirming that the band will descend on Australia in November for an exclusive one-off performance on Sydney Harbour.
The band will play their biggest hits, along with a selection of songs from the new LP when they take over the Harbour on Monday November 18, with the band’s drummer Nathan Followill confirming his excitement in a statement.
“We’re so excited to be coming back to Australia to play on Sydney Harbour for Channel [V],” he said. “We can’t wait to see all our fans come out and have some fun with us – we’ll drink a beer or two! They should probably go ahead and get their tickets now cos I got a feeling they’re going to go pretty fast!”
It’s a money-can’t-buy event, with tickets to be given away on Channel [V] and Triple M in the weeks ahead.
But given the name of the album, there’s another fine way you might be able to nab yourself some tickets… Mechanical bull rides, of course!
