Summer’s set to sizzle alright, with the Red Hot Summer Tour coming to a town near you in January and February next year. And if you think the name of the event’s hot, just wait ’til you see who’s along for the ride.
Headlining proceedings in 2014 is the inimitable Suzi Quatro, who’ll be belting out her classic anthems including ‘Devil Gate Drive’, ’48 Crash’ and ‘The Wild One’.
But she’s certainly not going to be alone on the journey. The Angels, now fronted by The Screaming Jets’ Dave Gleeson, are along for the ride armed with their catalogue of classics. So too Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows and their anthems ‘Harley & Rose’, ‘Never Let Me Go’, ‘New Craze’ and ‘Chained To The Wheel’.
Mister Shannon Noll is confirmed too, along with recent chart darling Russell Morris, whose album ‘Sharkmouth’ has been an ARIA chart regular over the past couple of months. James Reyne will guest for the Mannum show, while The Angels will be absent in Launceston.
