It’s been a heck of a six year ride for the boys from JLS. After conquering the British edition of ‘The X Factor’, they went on to score a quintet of UK No.1 singles and five other top ten hits.
But their penultimate single ‘Hold Me Down’ (the second from their last album ‘Evolution’) stalled, peaking outside the top 100. The writing was on the wall.
So the boys are wrapping up their time together with one final single – the dance/pop single ‘Billion Lights’ that’s been tacked onto the end of their upcoming greatest hits collection that’s been dubbed less “celebration” and more “contractual obligation”.
As you’d expect (it’s been done many times before), the clip for the last single features a multitude of imagery from throughout the band’s time together… from the first tentative steps in the ‘X Factor’ audition process to instores to radio appearances to arena stages… along with some studio time.
