In what’s virtually guaranteed to be an astonishingly good show, jazz goddess Katie Noonan will head out on the road alongside Abby Dobson, Angie Hart and Martha Marlow later this year for a very special concert experience called ‘Songs That Made Me’.
The shows (one each in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide) will feature an array of songs that have influenced each of the four songstresses on their personal and professional journeys.
“I thought this would be a wonderful and unique opportunity to share the stage through story and song and hang out with cool chicks at the same time,” Katie said in a statement. “I am very excited to share the space with these gorgeous women whom I admire and respect, and think it will be a very special night for the audience and us!”
And the song list may surprise, with tracks from artists as diverse as Carole King and Tiddas, Fiona Apple to Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley to Kylie Minogue.
Tickets for all shows are on sale this Wednesday.
