The global fight against HIV/AIDS continues unabated, with December 01 each year marking World AIDS Day – a day we can all do our bit to help raise awareness in the hope of one day eradicating the disease once and for all. While there are increasingly sophisticated drugs and treatment options available, there is still no cure.
Here’s one way you can do your bit in 2013… by purchasing (or pre-ordering) the new (RED) compilation album ‘Dance (RED) Save Lives2’.
A number of the world’s biggest pop artists and DJs have come together for the digital-only release, which features 24 tracks from Katy Perry, Coldplay, Madonna, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, Empire Of The Sun, Robin Thicke, Icona Pop, Tiesto and many more.
And naturally, proceeds raised from its sale go directly to (RED) in the hope of one day realising an AIDS-free generation.
Stereosonic has also jumped on board, with their Sydney event on November 30 and December 01 (the AIDS Day weekend), being streamed live across the globe via Thump’s YouTube channel (link via the video below).
‘Dance (RED) Saves Lives2’ is released on Monday November 25.
