The team from ARIA has revealed the biggest tracks and albums of 2013 with their annual ‘top 100’ reports, dropped overnight.
And while singles-wise, they’ll be plenty of celebration for the likes of P!nk, Rihanna, MKTO, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Avicii and particularly Katy Perry (who lands the No.1 spot on the singles chart), there’s not so much to crow about for the locals, with only seven acts from Australia and New Zealand making up the top 50.
The highest placed of these, understandably, is New Zealand’s Lorde, whose ‘The Love Club EP ftg. Royals’ places at No.5.
Melbourne’s Vance Joy is the highest placed Aussie with ‘Riptide’, which comes in at No.12.

It’s amazing how Beyoncé made it to #23 with just 3 weeks of sales lol.
