There’s been plenty happening in the world that is Dolly Parton’s national tour in the past couple of weeks… Not only has she added additional dates in Melbourne and Brisbane, along with new shows in Tamworth and Cairns, her touring agent Live Nation has also confirmed a second and final show in Sydney and a move for the Adelaide concert.
To be held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre (from hereon in known as Qantas Credit Union Arena after its official name change came into effect today), the second Sydney date kicks in on Wednesday February 19, the night after her original date in the Harbour City.
But the prior addition of the Cairns date on February 24 has meant that organisers have been forced into moving Dolly’s Adelaide show. The good news for Adelaidians is, however, that there are fewer sleeps to go ’til the country superstar hits the City Of Churches.
She’ll now play the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday February 13. Those who are unable to attend the new show will need to seek a refund in writing before February 07, with details available via the Live Nation Website (click on the Adelaide link).
Tickets for the new Sydney show, meanwhile, will go on sale this Friday from 9am.
