They might not have quite made the top four on last year’s edition of ‘The X Factor’, but the TV talent competition sure got Swedish siblings JTR (John, Tom and Robin Lundback) noticed by a national audience.
And with music industry parents who between them have signed and developed The Veronicas, A&Red countless artists, songwriting for artists across the globe (including South Korea’s Girls’ Generation) and launched a successful production company, the trio has been born from a pure pop pedigree.
Which is why, we guess, there seems to be a bit of a buzz surrounding the launch of the boys’ debut single ‘Ride’ today at both digital retail and media across the country.
JTR made it all the way to the No.7 position on last year’s ‘X Factor’ via performances of Justin Bieber’s ‘As Long As You Love Me’, Taylor Swift’s ‘Everything Has Changed’, Cher Lloyd’s ‘Want U Back’ and our own Kylie’s ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’.
Now under the watchful eye of production outfit Trinity, they’re ready to break out on their own in a big way in 2014 – and ‘Ride’ is just the beginning, with a 14 track full-length debut album called ‘Touchdown’ due to drop on Friday March 07.

The single Ride is not bad, but I think the other song thats available “Until Then” is awesome, reminds me of late 90s/early 2000s pop which for me is not a bad thing at all
