British songstress Ellie Goulding is back with fresh new music in the form of ‘Beating Heart’, which is lifted from the soundtrack of the upcoming movie ‘Divergent’.
The soundtrack features a number of tracks from Ms Goulding, including ‘Dead In The Water’ and ‘My Blood’, both of which featured on her recent album ‘Halcyon Days’. But it’s the brand new track that’ll pull focus here.
‘Beating Heart’ is everything you’d expect from Ellie; a shimmering electronic pop number that ditches the dance beats of ‘Burn’ for something a little more celestial in feel.
Naturally, given its role as the lead single from the soundtrack, there’s plenty of excerpts from the film to be found, a serve or two of eye candy, drama, love, emotion… all the usual suspects in the hope of absorbing you into the story ahead of the movie’s release on Thursday April 10
