The James Arthur project continues unabated with the release of the clip for the fourth single from his debut self-titled album.
Though the former British ‘X Factor’ winner might not have come close to the four times platinum sales he enjoyed for his debut single ‘Impossible’ since, he’s still been churning out entirely likeable pop numbers (single No.2 ‘You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You’ hit the top 30 down under).
Add ‘Get Down’ to that likeable list. The track feels not dissimilar in style to Emeli Sandé’s breakout smash ‘Heaven’, with its stylish production, samples and soft beats. James’ soul-fuelled vocals only add to the allure as he walks the streets of London. Interesting use of blended animation in this too.
The final loops of chorus further cement our belief in our ‘Heaven’ comparisons. But that’s no bad thing.
