Former Taxiride vocalist Jason Singh made a big return to the Aussie music scene late last year via the release of his new solo offering ‘Humannequin’. The album gave audiences a dozen-track taste of Jason’s new sound, which was in a more pop/dance guise than most will remember him by. But after two top ten ARIA club hits, to some in the industry, the new direction won’t have come as a surprise.
And Jason carries the new sound off quite well. ‘Speakers’ is a confident, uptempo pop number with a repetitive singalong chorus that’s not hard to get stuck in your head. It comes with a pretty stylish video; a little sexy, dark and mysterious, but seriously classy and primed for some mainstream love.
