How can you not love yourself a little bit of Sophie Ellis-Bextor first thing on a Monday morning.
The British pop starlet, most famous in Australia for her smash hits ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ and ‘Get Over You’, recently released her fifth studio album ‘Wanderlust’.
And although there’s been very little in the way of promotion for the album down under (we don’t even know whether a local label is attached to it), we’re still here blowing Sophie’s horn loudly in the form of a story on the video for the album’s second single ‘Runaway Dreamer’.
Now while the new material might be a little less dancefloor than Sophie’s previous offerings, it’s by no means a million miles away from the pop realm – and as always the singer scrubs up looking every bit the pop princess that she is on video. Good on her for mixing things up a bit. ‘Cause just remember… it’s a mixed up world.

Universal Music Australia have released this in Australia. Grab it from JB Hi Fi. It’s easily her best album though not her usual dance material it suits her voice so much.
Quite possibly one of the best albums of 2014. And It’s selling big in the UK. 3 weeks Top 10. Not bad Sophie.
Best songs Deer & The Wold, 13 Little Dolls, Love Is A Camera.
