Personal tragedy has rocked legendary outfit The Rolling Stones on the eve of their Australian tour.
The band arrived in the country earlier this week to much fanfare, but the death of the Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott in New York overnight has forced the Stones to pull out of tomorrow night’s concerts in Perth, which was due to be the band’s first there in years.
Their touring company Frontier just minutes ago released a statement saying that although the show will not be going ahead as scheduled tomorrow night, concert goers were being asked to hold onto their tickets until a further update becomes available.
No updates were provided about any of the other band’s Australian concert commitments.
