Further to yesterday’s news of the postponement of The Rolling Stones’ Perth concert, Frontier Touring has overnight confirmed that the rest of the band’s Australian dates are also now postponed.
A brief statement from the company stated, “Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood wish to thank all of their fans for their support at this difficult time and hope that they will fully understand the reason for this announcement. The Rolling Stones are planning to reschedule these postponed shows at a later date.”
The postponement comes less than 24 hours after news broke of the tragic death of frontman Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott in New York.
Fans are being advised to hold onto their tickets for the time being while Frontier and the band work on rescheduling dates.
