The fun, colour and spectacle of the annual Eurovision Song Contest wouldn’t quite be complete without the chance to own each of the tracks being performed as part of the official album.
Brilliantly, the gang at Universal Music has kept its release rather quiet from us this year… until just two days out from its local release.
Yes, the Eurovision compilation will hit stores in Australia this Friday (let’s say either tomorrow or Saturday, given the public holiday), bringing together each of the 37 entries, along with the official song for this year’s competition, ‘Rainmaker’, performed by last year’s winner Emmelie de Forest.
Naturally, its release this week means that you’ll be able to get your head around each of the entries before the competition kicks off in Copenhagen on Tuesday May 06.
In the meantime, join us every day here on the site for our daily look at each of the entries in the lead-up to this year’s event.
