As you’ll have previously seen here on the site, Ms Katy Perry recently did a little bit of dressing up; as characters Goldie the dancer, Yosef Shulem the MC, Kriss the clown, Ace the animal trainer and Princess Mandee, all in the name of her art.
Dubbed the world’s worst birthday party entertainers, each of them goes about their business in the new video, albeit in the most unprofessional of ways; giving a lap dance (Goldie), being unprofessional (Yosef), drunk (Kriss), inappropriate (Ace) or just seemingly untalented (Princess Mandee).
Naturally, the guests at each of the functions is seemingly none the wiser, which adds to the appeal. That is, obviously, until the end when everyone gets let in on the joke. ‘Birthday’ is a good watch that keeps you glued for its almost eight minutes. Keep watching through the credits for the slightly unnerving sight of Yosef in his bra and panties.
