Melbourne singer songwriter Dan Sultan is celebrating on two fronts today; not only is his new album ‘Blackbird’ finally at retailers across the country, but he’s also announced that he’ll embark on a somewhat enormous live tour in the middle of the year.
As his label Liberation suggests, Dan’s set to be on the road for almost two months with shows locked down for every state in the country (sadly nothing for the territories at this stage).
It all kicks off on Thursday June 26 at The Venue in Townsville, before popping up to Cairns and then making its way slowly down the East Coast. The tour wraps in Broome on Saturday August 16.
Tickets for all shows are on sale on Thursday April 10.
In the meantime, fans in his hometown will be able to catch him as part of an instore appearance at Readings in St.Kilda as part of Record Store Day celebrations on Saturday April 19.
