The recent announcement of the upcoming Australian tour by Queen with their new frontman Adam Lambert has been met with great enthusiasm, particularly, it seems, in Sydney and Melbourne, with Dainty Group this morning confirming the addition of new shows in both Sydney and Melbourne.
It’s the first time in almost 30 years that Queen has played live in Australia and while they’ll never truly be complete without their legendary frontman Freddie Mercury, Adam Lambert has been a more than capable replacement since they first teamed up for a performance on ‘American Idol’ five years ago.
The new Sydney show will take to the stage at Allphones Arena on August 27, with the new Melbourne date at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday August 30.
Tickets are on sale now.
