What happened to ‘Empire’? Here we were just getting used to the idea that ‘Empire’ was the latest single to be lifted from Shakira’s self-titled album and then all of a sudden… up pops ‘Dare’.
Not that we’re complaining, mind. We always love ourselves a little bit of new Shakira, but it wasn’t like ‘Empire’ has been given much of a fighting chance; after all, it’s only six week since we featured its video here on the site.
Look Shakira always seems to give good video and ‘Dare’ is certainly no different; plenty of colour, dancing and movement. It’s a celebratory song; any wonder that there’s going to be a tweaked version of it included on the album for the upcoming Soccer World Cup in Brazil.
