According to the official presser form their publicists, the hypnotron featured in the video for ‘Creature Of The Night’ – the latest single from Sydney outfit Art vs Science is “probably” the world’s biggest.
It’s featured regularly throughout the clip, no doubt in an effort to hypnotise you into staying the course through a totally surreal video featuring a (ahem) princess in a cart, a walking sunflower and an underground party, where our bespectacled band provide the soundtrack.
We don’t know why, but it kind of reminds us of those wee hours when you’ve just come home from the club and ‘Rage’ is playing all that weird shit.
And after heading out on a national tour earlier this month, the band will hit the road again in August for a series of dates to follow on from their appearance at Splendour In The Grass. They’ll play Newcastle, Hobart, Wollongong, Canberra and Jindabyne, with tickets for all five shows on sale tomorrow from 9am.
August 01 : Newcastle (Cambridge Hotel)
August 08 : Hobart (Republic Bar)
August 14 : Wollongong (Uni Bar)
August 15 : Canberra (Transit Bar)
August 16 : Jindabyne (The Station)
