Birdy’s gone bonkers, revealing her second music video within a week… and both tracks (this and ‘Tee Shirt’) are lifted from the soundtrack to the recent hit movie ‘The Fault In Our Stars’.
But whereas the clip for ‘Tee Shirt’ included plenty of footage from the film itself, ‘Not About Angels’ is virtually a Birdy clip proper, albeit a beautifully restrained one. We’ve not seen the film itself – although we’ve heard plenty about it – but given the lyrical content of the track and its sentiment, it’ll no doubt be used to full effect in a sad part of the movie. Credit where it’s due, Birdy’s vocal in this is utterly stunning.
