Well this is certainly one way to ensure that the public all over the world knows that your new album ‘Whispers’ has just hit the stores.
Yes, it’s a brand new video from UK troubadour Passenger, timed perfectly to coincide with the release of his new LP across the world.
In it, he’s clearly so bored by the stifling beige office that he decides that he’s got to make his own fun. So, with the help of two colleagues, he’s wheeled around the office singing a new track called ‘Scare Away The Dark’.
It’s essentially a tune about putting down the smartphone, switching off the technology (the irony’s not lost on us as we’re penning this story) and reconnecting with the world around us. Communicating with each other face to face, venturing into the outdoors and appreciating the greenery and – in the case of some of the people in the clip – whipping your shirt and pants off.

Is he still singing in that silly voice (that’s totally fake and contrived)?
