South Korean superstar Psy is teaming up with rapper Snoop Dogg in the hope of relaunching his global music career.
After catapulting to global fame via his global No.1 smash ‘Gangnam Style’, which has recently notched up a record two billion views on YouTube, the singer’s career dipped slightly with its follow-up ‘Gentleman’ (let’s face it, it was always going to be tough to better ‘Gangnam Style’ in the success department).
More than a year on, Psy returns with ‘Hangover’.
Described as “the ultimate party anthem”, the track will be premiered on the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ show in the US on Sunday night, presumably meaning it’ll be delivered to Australian media sometime on Monday afternoon.
It also features a guest rap by Snoop Dogg, who previously announced he was going to be known as Snoop Lion. Or Snoop Mountain Lion. Or perhaps Snoop Mavericks. We can’t keep up.
‘Hangover’ is released in Australia on Tuesday June 10.
