Jennifer Lopez. J-Lo. She’s pretty much an icon of the global music industry. Since bursting onto the scene with ‘If I Had Your Love’ some 15 years ago, she’s been a chart regular, dotting the charts across the decade and a half with smash hits like ‘Waiting For Tonight’, ‘Let’s Get Loud’, ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing’, ‘Ain’t It Funny’, ‘Jenny From The Block’ and more recently ‘On The Floor’, ‘Dance Again’ and ‘Live It Up’.
So it’s understandable that the singer’s eighth studio album was going to be met with a great deal of anticipation. She teased us all with ‘Same Girl’ earlier in the year, then came storming back into the mainstream with both ‘I Luh Ya Papi’ and Max Martin-produced new single ‘First Love’.
To celebrate the album’s release, the lovely gang at EMI has kindly forwarded us five copies to give away. And this is how you can get in on the action…;
Shoot through an email containing your name and postal address to our address up top in the sidebar. In the subject line, plonk the title “I’d Ache For A Slice Of The A.K.A. Cake” and we’ll pop you in the draw to win one!
Competition closes at 10:00pm AEST on Saturday July 26, 2014. Only one entry per residence and email address will be accepted. Winners drawn entirely at random. Competition open to Australian residents only. Winners’ first names, suburbs/towns and states will be published on the site on Sunday July 27, 2014. Five auspOp devotees will each pick up a copy of the fine new J-Lo album ‘A.K.A’, with big thanks to the EMI lovelies. And as always, we’ll be keeping your details safe, sound and toasty warm. We might even give them a warm cup of cocoa with some marshmallows.
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.
