Four weeks, four different artists topping the sales race for reality TV hit ‘The Voice’.
In previous weeks, we’ve had Sabrina Batshon, Gabriel & Cecilia and ZK respectively all outselling their competition on iTunes in the post-show haze, but this week it’s Team Kylie’s Johnny Rollins leading the pack with his rendition of Percy Sledge’s ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’.
But it’s clear that last night’s audience were less impressed with the song choices. Whereas ZK were in the No.4 position this time last week with their cover of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Time After Time’, they’re nowhere to be seen in the iTunes top 100. Johnny’s track is currently No.19, a long way short of the top ten.
In second place, it’s Anja Nissen’s cover of Whitney’s ‘I Have Nothing’, albeit all the way down in position No.38.
Jackson Thomas is next with ‘When The War Is Over’ (No.44), followed by Frank Lakoudis’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, albeit way down the list at No.75.
ZK’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ sits at No.105, so clearly last night’s song choices haven’t connected with the viewing audience the way they have in previous weeks, resulting in much lower sales.
Team Kylie’s Kat Jade, Team Joel’s Holly Tapp and Team Ricky’s Sabrina Batshon were all eliminated from the competition during last night’s show.

I actually thought all the elimanated singers should have stayed. Can’t believe Sabrina is gone.
That version of When The War Is Over didn’t connect for me. Takes me back to Cosima DeVito’s version from Idol. Now that’s how you do it!
