Sydney outfit Mammals might not have graced our pages before, but then again, the band hasn’t really released any new music for a couple of years. That is, of course, until their track ‘Circles’ dropped back in late May.
It’s the highlight track lifted from a forthcoming EP release entitled ‘Animalia’, which is due to drop digitally in the middle of next month and its release has been enhanced by the release of the dream-like official video (below), in which the leading man is being chased by an ominous cloud through an almost post-apocaplyptic world.
Accompanying the clip, of course, is a beautiful almost ethereal soundscape of soft vocals and lush electronic instrumentation. Look for ‘Animalia’ at your favourite digital retailer from Friday August 15.
