It’s a big day for fans of Aussie songstress Megan Washington, with the announcement of an album, the cover, the tracklisting, a TV show and even a tour.
Firstly the album… It’s called ‘There There’ (cover image above) and the all-important sophomore piece is set for release in the middle of September. It comprises a dozen new recordings, including latest single ‘Limitless’, which all have a personal connection to the singer.
“In my mind, every single one of these songs has a name in brackets afterwards,” Megan says of the new LP. “The people in the songs know who they are. I certainly do. I wrote about living with anxiety, bad sex, being unfaithful, how much I loved the person I was unfaithful to, waking up in hospital, the heart-cracking sadness at the end of a party, being reckless and selfish and losing my best friend. I told the truth, as best I remember.”
The album (tracklist below) is now available for pre-order and will drop at all retailers on Friday September 12.

It screens from 8:00pm on Monday July 07 on ABC1.
