‘The Voice’ favourite Steve Clisby will tour Australia later this year.
After impressing audiences on last year’s edition of ‘The Voice’ as part of Team Delta, the former US vocalist has gone on to release a couple of tracks, including ‘Three Little Letters’, which has been used as part of a promotional campaign for the Commonwealth Bank.
Now Steve returns with ‘Walking These Streets’ which, along with ‘Three Little Letters’, will appear on his forthcoming album ‘Leave Me Dreaming’, due for release later in the year. He tells audiences what they can expect from the new tunes.
“In a lot of ways the last twelve months have really liberated me. I have decided to have some fun and while I love most music styles now I want to record some more uplifting and less serious music because I can.”
Steve will be showcasing a lot of the new material on his just-announced national tour, which kicks off at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on September 03. It’ll make stops in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, along with a show at the Byron Theatre and performances at the Noosa Jazz Festival. Tickets for all are on sale this Thursday.
‘Walking These Streets’ the single drops digitally on Friday; the album ‘Leave Me Dreaming’ is set for release on Friday September 05.
