The next single from Lana Del Rey’s ‘Ultraviolence’ album project falls to the album’s title track.
Following on from ‘West Coast’, ‘Shades Of Cool’ and ‘Brooklyn Baby’, ‘Ultraviolence’ has a big job to do in helping maintain interest in the US singer’s latest album, which so far hasn’t performed nearly as well as its predecessor ‘Born To Die’ on global sales charts.
Truthfully, there’s not a lot to the clip, as our leading lady, dressed in a classic white frock and a veil, wanders through a garden holding a bunch of flowers. She makes it to the church on time, but there’s no-one there waiting for her. Maybe it’s a dress rehearsal. Perhaps she’s properly bonkers. We might never know.
