Though they might have been around more than a decade and a half ago, there were plenty of truly amazing dance anthems to come out of the 1990s that still stand the test of time. And there are a swag of these amazing dance anthems included on the second edition of Ministry Of Sound’s amazing ‘Anthems : 90s’ compilations, which hits retailers at the end of the week.
Disc one is worth the price of admission alone, opening with C+C Music Factory before swaggering through dance classics from Jamiroquai, Dr.Alban, Snap!, Crystal Waters and Stretch & Vern. Tori Amos’ ‘Professional Widow’ follows, along with hits from ATFC, Jam & Spoon, Blue Boy and more.
But the names keep coming… D:Ream, Corona, La Bouche, Motiv8, Moloko and N Trance, all on the first disc.
Disc two continues the trend via Chemical Brothers, Armand Van Helden, Atlantic Ocean, Technotronic, Sandy B, Incognito, Brothers In Rhythm, Billie Ray Martin and more, while on disc three, the hits keep on coming via tracks from The Shamen, Sunscreem, Utah Saints, Gat Decor, Usura, The Prodigy and Tokyo Ghetto Pussy.
62 tracks in all ensure this one will be a must-add to the collection.
‘Anthems : 90s Vol.2’ is available this Friday.
