Are you keeping up yet? British singer songwriter Nerina Pallot kicked off 2014 by announcing she’d be releasing an EP every month throughout the year and at this stage at least, she’s been true to her word. January brought us the ‘Hold Tight’ EP. In February it was the ‘We Should Break Up’ EP, followed by the ‘When The Morning Stars Sang Together’ EP at the end of March. Then in April we had the ‘Free As You Wanna Be’ EP, May’s ‘Grand Union’ EP, June’s ‘When I Grow Up’ EP and July’s ‘Rousseau’ EP.
Now there’s another one in the offing, with the ‘Little Bull’ EP ready for release tomorrow.
Once again, Nerina’s assembled another five tracks, including the title track, to give her global fandom another little glimpse into her mind’s musical wanderings.
The wonderful thing about these EPs is that they’re all incredibly diverse musically. The ‘When I Grow Up’ EP in particular was incredibly pop, while ‘Little Bull’ EP track ‘Million To One’ reminds us a little of the sublime ‘Year Of The Wolf’ material.
The ‘Little Bull’ EP is released globally tomorrow.
