Sony Music has confirmed that Irish group The Script will make their way to Australia in October this year for an extensive promotional visit.
“Our Australian fans have been behind us from the very beginning,” band frontman Danny O’Donoghue said. “We can’t wait to come back and see everyone again in one of our favorite countries!”
The band will arrive in Australia on Thursday October 09 and the visit is set to incorporate a special one-off live performance on October 11 at Guineas Day as part of Melbourne’s Caulfield Cup racing carnival.
We’re presuming television appearances will also feature as part of the band’s six day visit, though there’s been no confirmation from their label Sony at this stage.
The Script’s fourth album ‘No Sound Without Silence’ is set for release on Friday September 19.
