The date and venue for the 2014 ARIA Awards have been announced.
The 28th annual awards will once again celebrate and recognise some of this country’s finest musicians when it takes over the Star Events Centre in Sydney on Wednesday November 26.
ARIA Chairman Denis Handlin expressed his delight at this morning’s announcement in a statement.
“(It’s) the biggest night of the year for Australian music. Working alongside the iconic Australian brands Telstra, David Jones and Qantas, we look forward to delivering a spectacular night celebrating an outstanding year in Australian music. We are also very pleased to continue our partnership with the NSW Government, which is supporting the Awards ceremony as well as the exciting schedule of events for ARIA Week 2014.”
This year’s ceremony will be telecast around the country on Network Ten, the official broadcast partner of the 2014 ARIA Awards.
And as always, the Aussie record buying public will get to have their say in the awards, with voting on the public categories (Song Of The Year, Best International Artist, Best Australian Live Act and Best Video) set to commence on Tuesday October 07.
