One-time member of CDB and winner of the 2012 edition of ‘Australia’s Got Talent’, Andrew De Silva, is back.
Now a fully independent artist, the singer has today released ‘Now That I Believe’, a new six track EP that touches on the subject of faith… a topic that’s incredibly important to him.
“Faith is very personal and these songs are just what I’ve experienced,” Andrew said in a statement supporting its release, “So I hope it inspires others no matter where they are with their faith.”
The EP is an equal mixture of the uptempo (‘Now That I Believe’, ‘Dark Clouds’ and ‘Burn It Out’) and the downtempo (‘Greater’, ‘Back Of The Church’ and ‘When I Lose Myself’) and while ‘Dark Clouds’ is quite an interesting listen, it’s clear to see why ‘Now That I Believe’ was chosen as the lead single and title track… it’s the most universally accessible.
Though it might not be to everyones’ tastes lyrically, the ‘Now That I Believe’ EP gifts us another glorious opportunity to hear Andrew’s spectacular vocals at their most soulful.
