Can it really have been two years since Sydney-based DJ duo Milly Gattegno and Suhana Lye (aka The Faders) released their last – and only – compilation album?
The inaugural edition of ‘F.U.N’ dropped at Australian retail stores on September 28 back in 2012, but the wait for the all-important second edition is almost over, with ‘F.U.N.2’ due later this month.
As with the previous incarnation, the second volume once again brings together a selection of tasty urban and R&B anthems from across the decades, whipped up into a double disc party-starting pill that will have your guests dancing long into the night.
Ariana Grande’s smash hit ‘Problem’ kicks off the set, but it’s followed by Katrina & The Waves’ party smash ‘Walking On Sunshine’, then it’s back to this decade with DJ Snake’s ‘Turn Down For What’.
Retro lovers will appreciate the inclusion of tracks like Chaka Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’, Arrested Development’s ‘People Everyday’, Kris Kross’ ‘Jump’, Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’ and Crystal Waters’ ‘100% (Pure Love)’, but there’s plenty of new stuff to get your teeth into too; Mr Probs, Ellie Goulding, Jason Derulo, Snoop Dogg, Avicii, Jessie J and more among them.
The 40 track double disc set will be released on Friday September 26.
