• Dutch EDM superstar Hardwell has teamed up with fellow countryman Joey Dale and British songstress Luciana for his latest single ‘Arcadia’. And given that he’ll be touching down in Australia in just a few weeks time for shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, we guess it makes sense that the team at Universal Music has serviced the track to media this week.
• Among the other newbies this week are remixes of Sam Smith’s ‘I Know I’m Not The Only One’, La Roux’s ‘Kiss & Not Tell’, Karise Eden’s ‘Dynamite’, the new Fall Out Boy single ‘Centuries’ and a re-service of Hilary Duff’s single ‘All About You’ off the back of her ‘X Factor’ performance on Monday night. As always, keep your eyes peeled on our FACEBOOK page tomorrow for a more comprehensive wrap of the new tunes.
• Delta Goodrem will release a new single this Friday. But it’s a song fans of the early ’90s will be more than familiar with. It’s a cover version of Martika’s Prince co-penned hits ‘Love… Thy Will Be Done’. No word yet on whether an album is to follow.
• The acclaimed So Frenchy So Chic festivals will return to Sydney and Melbourne in January next year, offering up a delicious slice of all things French. There’s the food… tart tartin, baguettes, tortes, crêpes and macarons. Mark the dates… Werribee Park Mansion in Melbourne on Sunday January 11 and St.John’s College at Sydney University on Saturday January 17.

• They bulleted from No.115 to No.1 on the UK singles chart this week and it seems the love for Lilly Wood and Robin Schulz’ single ‘Prayer In C’ isn’t quite over yet; the single maintaining its stranglehold on the British No.1 spot for the second successive week, in the process holding Duke Dumont’s new single ‘Won’t Look Back’ from pole position (it’s up from No.169 to No.2). The highest debut came from The Script and their new single ‘Superheroes’, which was new at No.3. G.R.L.’s ‘Ugly Heart’ is into the UK charts at No.11.
• And Sam Smith has once again found favour with the British record buying public; his album ‘In The Lonely Hour’ retaking the No.1 spot on the UK albums chart while relegating last week’s No.1 from Royal Blood to the bridesmaid’s position. Maroon 5’s No.4 debut with ‘V’ mirrors their first week chart placing in Australia, while Pierces’ ‘Creation’ is new at No.7.
