Canadian pop/rock outfit Mariana’s Trench has announced today that they’ll tour Australia in November.
The band’s danceable single ‘Pop 101’ was released back at the end of July and has already found a home in the charts back home in Canada.
And to say that frontman Josh Ramsay knows how to write a catchy earworm is an understatement to say the least; he was one of the co-writers behind Carly Ray Jepsen’s mega breakout smash ‘Call Me Maybe’; a track he also produced.
The band will touch down in Melbourne for an over 18s gig on November 01, with an under 18s to follow the next day. Shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth follow.
Pre-sale kicks off on Tuesday at 2pm, with general sales live from 10am on Thursday September 18.
