The team at ARIA has today unveiled the first list of nominees in this year’s ARIA Awards. The Fine Arts and Artisan Awards will be handed out in a selection of categories at ARIA’s official nominations event next week.
The nominations were revealed alongside this striking new artwork (left), created by the widely celebrated Australian artist Ken Done, who’ll be on hand at next week’s event to present the award for the Best Cover Art.
Awards will also be handed out for Producer Of The Year and Engineer Of The Year, along with four in the fine arts categories of World Album, Jazz Album, Classical Album and Original Soundtrack/Show/Cast album.
The 2014 Nominations event is set to take place on Tuesday October 07 at the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney.
