Olympic Ayres play the first show as part of their national EP tour tonight at the Alhambra Lounge in Brisbane. And we couldn’t let the occasion go by without giving them a little more love, especially when they’re sharing the love with us in return in the form of a free download of the Avenue remix of their latest single ‘Say My Name’.
The song’s lifted from the boys’ recently released ‘Leisureplex’ EP and, it has to be said, it’s rather spectacular. Remixed by Canadian outfit Avenue, this version is a whole lotta ’80s flourishes, echoed vocals and retro beats and, for a limited time, it’s available as a free download from Avenue’s FACEBOOK just by giving it a little ‘Like’. A small price to pay, we reckon.
