Sydney singer songwriter Mari Jean has spent the past few years putting in the hard yards, whether that be learning the business, honing her craft as a songwriter or cutting her teeth as a live performer.
All that hard work shows on her new single ‘If Only’, which is set for release as part of an EP of the same name at the end of the month.
Produced by Michael D’Arcy and Tony Cvetkovski (the latter also co-penned the track), it’s a confident dance/pop track that revolves around the love she has for a man… who’s clearly with another.
The clip, shot at the now-defunct Rozelle mental hospital, sees our leading lady dreaming of the young man so much, it’s driving her a little cray-cray.
We’re told the EP package will include a remix by UK production house 7th Heaven and that an album is due in the middle of 2015.
