British boyband The Vamps will jingle the bells of many of their Australian fans with news through this morning that they’ll be releasing a Christmas edition of their debut album ‘Meet The Vamps’ at the end of next month.
But it’s not just special edition artwork (above, complete with dodgy Christmas jumpers) that’s bound to tempt fans to part with their hard earned; it’s the inclusion of eight Christmas songs at the head of the release that the band hopes will have you sidling up under the mistletoe.
Included are the band’s versions of classics like ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’, ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Silent Night’, along with two original songs from the band, ‘Sleighing In The Snow’ and ‘Hoping For Snow’. Not that us Aussies will be hoping for snow almost one month into summer.
Amazingly, the inclusion of the eight new tunes brings the total number of tracks on the new edition to 24.
‘Meet The Vamps : Christmas Edition’ will be released on Friday November 28.
