You may remember seeing Melbourne twins Bec & Sebastian on ‘The Voice’ last year when they were picked by Ricky Martin to be part of his team.
Though they didn’t progress through the competition beyond the Battle Rounds, they have been undeterred and have recently released their new single ‘Barricade’ (stunning cover image above).
Sebastian’s had a long and illustrious music career, from his excellent The New Avant Garde project (featured here on the site in 2009) to writing and producing for the likes of Anthony Callea and Seany B, but it’s only in recent times that he and twin sis Bec have started collaborating together musically. And the results are pretty fabulous.
‘Barricade’ has been officially serviced to media this week, giving audiences a glimpse into the pair’s combined pop powers which will culminate in the release of a debut EP early in the new year. Check the track out below.

Loved the song they wrote with Anthony Callea, Goodbye Tonight. Such a shame it didn’t get released. Wish them well with this new song.
