As revealed recently here on the site, Kasey Chambers’ November/December tour has been postponed, due to the discovery of “small nodules and inflammation on her vocal cords”. Doctors advised the singer to rest to lessen the potential need for surgery.
“Thank you for the support over the last year, with some rest and ‘no yelling at the kids to clean their room’, I’ll be back on track in no time!” the singer said in a statement.
But the tour will roll on early next year, with shows already confirmed to take place throughout much of February and March.
Now Kasey and her team have unveiled three new dates; in Melbourne, Newcastle and Geelong in late April and early May.
The announcement co-incides with today’s nominations reveal for the Country Music Awards Of Australia; Kasey’s up for six gongs, including Album Of The Year, Single Of The Year and Female Artist Of The Year.
