November is shaping up to be one helluva month for Melbourne singer songwriter Chet Faker.
He’s widely predicted to sweep the field at this month’s ARIA Awards, where he leads the pack with an impressive nine nominations, including the all-important album of the year for ‘Built On Glass’. He’s also performing live during the November 26 ceremony.
Beyond that, there’s his nomination for a J Award for Australian Album Of The Year and he’ll be releasing his very first iTunes session, which will be released just two days after the ARIAs. There’s your biggest hint that he’ll do super-well in picking up a slew of awards.
Now after conquering Europe via a series of sell-out live shows, Chet has announced he’s coming home for his biggest tour to date.
Kicking off in Canberra on February 11, the run of dates includes all five main capital cities, including a double date at the Chevron Gardens as part of the Perth Festival on February 20 and 21.
