After dominating the ARIA singles chart with their long-awaited comeback single ‘You Ruin Me’ in recent weeks and with their even more long-awaited new album due in stores tomorrow, Brisbane duo The Veronicas have announced they’ll tour Australia early in the new year.
The ‘Sanctified’ tour will make stops in the five main capital cities in February, in what will be Lisa and Jess’ first live appearances in more than six years.
“We’re thrilled to be unveiling our new music live on stage for our Australian fans first. We’ve missed performing live and can’t wait to bring The Veronicas to life on stage,” the girls said in a statement.
“The Sanctified Tour will be an intimate, theatrical experience, and is our way of saying thank you to our fans that have spent six years waiting for our return to the stage. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the Sanctified Tour will complete our rebirth.”
A Veronicas presale kicks off on Monday from 10am, with general public tickets on sale from 9am local time on Thursday November 27.
